Eggplant

An eggplant is a fruiting vegetable from the nightshade family. This family also includes peppers and tomatoes. The most well-known variety is the purple one. Eggplants have to grow under warm conditions. In the greenhouses where it grows, the temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius at night and during the day this can rise to around 30 degrees Celsius

In order not to be dependent on climatic conditions, eggplants are grown in different regions in Spain.
